Brief Introduction of Company in 2004

The First Electric Power Construction Company of Jiangsu Province is the large-scale enterprise of the first grade qualification for general contract of electric power engineering authorized by the National Ministry of Construction and the qualification as an import & export enterprise of the People’s Republic of China to deal with the foreign economic cooperation and management. It is able to contract the construction of various large-scale power plants, nuclear power plants, transformer stations, long pipelines and steel structures in China.

Recently, by taking the structural readjustment as guideline and giving prominence to the theme of development, the company has passed three Quality System Certificates in succession with the continuous improvement of level. In 2003, the company realized the output value of construction for RMB 1.979 billion, the output value of construction on the company’s own for RMB 1.064 billion and labor productivity of RMB 425 thousand per person as well as the highest technical criteria in the history. The company has been granted the National Labor Day Award and the honorary titles of National Excellent Construction Enterprise, Enterprise Winning the National “AnKang Cup”, National Advanced Enterprise of Providing Satisfactory Engineering to Customers, Material & Spiritual Civilized Unit of Jiangsu Province, First Class Enterprise of Jiangsu Province, AAA Class Enterprise with Good Credit of Jiangsu Province and Noted Construction Contract Enterprise of Jiangsu Province. The Technical Reconstruction Engineering of Nanjing Xiaguan Power Plant undertaken by the company won the “Silver Award of National Excellent Engineering”; the 2×300 MW Technical Reconstruction Engineering of Xutang Power Plant realized the goal of “Creating Elaborate Product” which was granted the title of 2003 High-Quality Electric Power Construction Engineering jointly by the CHINA ELECTRICITY COUNCIL and CHINA ELECTRIC POWER CONSTRUCTION ENTERPRISE ASSOCIATION; the Zhenjiang Power Plant Engineering created the record of shortest construction period for the similar plant units; the Engineering of Green Power Generating Co., Ltd. of Taicang Port also created the record of shortest construction period for the similar newly built plant units.
